very easy way for North Douglas SYSCO customers to make tax deductible
donations of much needed food to their local food banks!
The ‘Kick One In’ program allows customers of North Douglas SYSCO Food Services (NDS) on Vancouver Island and eventually other suppliers, to have a case of food billed to their regular order, but have it shipped to the member of the Canadian Association of Food Banks (C.A.F.B.) B.C. Branch, nearest them that is signed up with ‘Kick One In’. If your food bank isn’t on the list, you can send your donation to the closest one, and if there’s a member of the C.A.F.B. in your town, they will see it is delivered to them. The food banks will keep track of all the items that the various business’s donate, and will issue tax deductible, charitable donation receipts at the end of the year. It’s so simple, everybody wins! |
