Our Purpose

The idea behind ‘Kick One In’ is to make it as simple as possible for any business that is the customer of a large commercial wholesale supplier to donate items to the people in their communities with the greatest need.

We will use the existing infrastructure as much as possible in order to minimize the organizational and financial impact on the participating suppliers.

We will work with established social service agencies and organizations that have existing aid programs in place for the free distribution of basic necessities to people with a proven need.

We will focus on the distribution of ‘hard goods’ and tangible items, rather than monetary contributions. This is to reduce the uncertainty that can accompany a donation to anyone regarding the amount of ‘administration’ expense, and how much of their donation actually made it to the needy people.

We will work to ‘fill the gap’ between large corporations that make huge annual donations and the ‘one at a time’ donations made by individuals.
By giving small, medium and larger business a simple way to make a tax deducible donation of real items, we hope to see a large total volume donated, with each of the many business making a donation of any size and frequency that they are comfortable with.
